Thirty years juggling a passion for running non-profit organizations with a career in communications, both in Asia and the United States. Currently, heavily involved in reinventing several large non-profit organizations which includes managing large teams of volunteers and many annual events, while working as a video and print content provider for Expat Living in Singapore and Hong Kong. Career-wise, the bulk was spent both behind and in front of the camera in live-to-tape, live events and television news, culminating with a job as a network correspondent for CBS News. Non-Profit: Years of heavy involvement with a long list of charitable organizations which include the Junior League, World Wildlife Fund, USA Girl Scouts (USAGSO), USA Cub Scouts and more. As Chair, led USAGSO Singapore in redefining and restructuring the organization, bringing it from the brink of closure to being recognized as one of the world’s top overseas committees in just two years. As Global Trainer, develop and present training seminars for leaders in Asia. Created and implemented 100 Acts of Charity for the American Association of Singapore, an initiative that resulted in 100 charitable acts being completed to celebrate centennial year.

Network correspondent assigned to The Early Show, the national morning show of the most watched network in the US. Assignments included everything from dancing on a showgirl stage in Las Vegas to wrangling rattlesnakes in a snake pit in Texas. Originally concentrating on the wackier side of life, but eventually developing one of the widest ranges of stories at the network. Uncanny ability to connect with every day people led to more in-depth profile pieces such as a series about childhood anorexia and reports on the devastation of Hurricane Katrina. Also covered breaking news.

Award-winning Feature/Traffic Reporter and a well-known morning personality affectionately dubbed
“The Chopper Chick.” Filed a dozen, personality-driven traffic reports daily. Also taped weekly features and covered breaking news. Gained fame as the last airborne reporter covering the events of September 11 which earned an EMMY nod and an EMMY win for the one year anniversary piece about that day.
